3 of my 4 douglas Xtra-Trac II tires of sidewall indents, I took it in the shop to get replaced and the shop manager said these side indents were normal and that's where the put the tire together once mounted. I asked him to show me these same indents on 4 other vehicles, none were found. that's when he said its specific to Douglas tires .
